मोगा। हिंदू धार्मिक सभ्यता के प्रतीक चिंहों को अपने कर्मचारियों को प्रयोग न करने की गाइड लाइन जारी करने के विवाद को लेकर शिवसेना हिंदुस्तान ने मोगा में प्रताप रोड स्थित लेंसकार्ट के शॉ रूम में पहुंचकर वहां के कर्मचारियों को उनके धर्म के अनुसार तिलक लगाया, उन्हें कलावा बांधा। शिवसेना हिंदुस्तान के कार्यकर्ताओं का नेतृत्व कर रहे शिवसेवना हिंदुस्तान पंजाब के महासचिव विकास कपूर ने चेतावनी दी कि अगर लेंसकार्ड अपने कर्मचारियों के लिए इस तरह की गाइड लाइन जारी करेगी तो शिवसेना हिंदुस्तान इसका हर स्तर पर विरोध करेगा। हालांकि देश भर में हो रहे विरोध प्रदर्शन के बाद अब लेंसकार्ट के संस्थापक ने अपनी गाइड लाइन वापस लेकर दावा किया है कि लेंसकार्ट सभी धर्मों का सम्मान करती है।
स्टोर में मौजूद कर्मचारियों को भी विकास कपूर ने भरोसा दिया कि वे कंपनी निडर होकर काम करें, वे अपनी योग्यता के आधार पर कंपनी में सलेक्ट हुए हैं और काम कर रहे हैं, उनका धर्म के आधार पर किसी प्रकार का उत्पीड़न नहीं होने दिया जाएगा।
क्या है मामला
लेंसकार्ट की पिछले दिनों एक कथित “इंटरनल ग्रूमिंग गाइड” लीक हुई थी, जिसमें स्टोर कर्मचारियों को तिलक, बिंदी, कलावा और सिंदूर लगाने पर मनाही थी लेकिन हिजाब और पगड़ी जैसे अन्य पहनावे की अनुमति थी, जिससे सोशल मीडिया पर नाराजगी के बाद देश भर में इसके खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन शुरू हो गया था। इसी विवाद को लेकर शिवसेना हिंदुस्तान की टीम ने प्रदेश महासचिव विकास कपूर के नेतृत्व में मोगा स्थित कंपनी के स्टोर पर प्रदर्शन कर वहां पर मौजूद कर्मचारियों को भरोसा दिया कि
किसी भी कंपनी में वहां के कर्मचारी अपनी योग्यता के आधार पर सलेक्ट होते हैं, धर्म के आधार पर नहीं। भारत जैसे देश में हर कंपनी को भारत के संविधान के अनुसार हर धर्म का सम्मान करना होगा। कोई भी कंपनी या संस्था इसका विरोध करती है तो शिवसेना हिंदुस्तान उसका विरोध करेगी।

Amidst the controversy surrounding the issuance of guidelines prohibiting employees from displaying symbols of Hindu religious tradition, Shiv Sena Hindustan activists visited the Lenskart showroom located on Pratap Road in Moga. There, they applied *tilaks* (religious marks) on the foreheads of the employees—in accordance with their faith—and tied *Kalavas* (sacred threads) on their wrists. Vikas Kapoor, the General Secretary of Shiv Sena Hindustan (Punjab), who was leading the activists, issued a stern warning: if Lenskart continues to issue such guidelines for its employees, Shiv Sena Hindustan will oppose it at every level. However, following widespread protests across the country, Lenskart’s founder has since withdrawn the controversial guidelines, asserting that Lenskart respects all religions.
Addressing the employees present at the store, Vikas Kapoor reassured them that they should work without fear. He emphasized that they were selected and employed by the company based solely on their merit and qualifications, and that no form of harassment or discrimination against them on religious grounds would be tolerated.
**The Issue at Hand**
Recently, an alleged “Internal Grooming Guide” from Lenskart was leaked. This document reportedly prohibited store employees from wearing *tilaks*, *bindis*, *Kalavas*, and *sindoor*, while permitting other forms of attire such as the *hijab* and *turban*. This disparity sparked outrage on social media and subsequently triggered protests against the company across the nation. In response to this controversy, a team from Shiv Sena Hindustan—led by State General Secretary Vikas Kapoor—staged a protest at the company’s store in Moga. While there, they reassured the employees present, stating:
“In any company, employees are selected based on their merit and qualifications, not on the basis of their religion. In a country like India, every company is bound by the Constitution of India to respect every religion.
