मोगा। टकसाली कांग्रेस नेताओं ने एक मंच पर एकजुट होकर पार्टी के संगठन विस्तार की मुहिम तेज कर दी है। शुक्रवार को पुराने मोगा क्षेत्र में जबरदस्त उत्साह के बीच युवा नेता अजीत पाल सिंह को कांग्रेस में शामिल कर उन्हें वार्ड इंचार्ज नियुक्त किया गया।
इस अवसर पर कांग्रेस की वरिष्ठ नेता एवं पूर्व स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्री डॉ. मालती थापर, पंजाब सरकार की एग्रो इंडस्ट्रीज कॉरपोरेशन के पूर्व चेयरमैन लाभसिंह आहलूवालिया, इंप्रूवमेंट ट्रस्ट के पूर्व चेयरमैन विनोद बंसल, पंजाब प्रदेश कांग्रेस कार्यसमि के सदस्य एवं पूर्व पार्षद मनजीत सिंह मान, पूर्व अध्यक्ष परमपाल सिंह तख्तूपुरा, युवा नेता एवं पार्षद विक्की सरपंच सहित कई प्रमुख नेताओं ने अजीत पाल सिंह को कांग्रेस का प्रतीक अंगवस्त्र पहनाकर पार्टी में विधिवत शामिल किया। पूर्व चेयरमैन लाभसिंह आहलूवालिया के प्रयासों से ही अजीतपाल सिंह कांग्रेस में शामिल हुए हैं, वे ऊर्जावान युवा नेता हैं।
इंप्रूवमेंट ट्रस्ट के पूर्व अध्यक्ष विनोद बंसल ने बताया कि जिला अध्यक्ष हरी सिंह खाई की अनुमति से मोगा जिले के टकसाली कांग्रेस नेताओं ने संगठन को मजबूत करने के उद्देश्य से नए और योग्य लोगों को पार्टी से जोड़ने का अभियान शुरू किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि टकसाली नेताओं का एकमात्र लक्ष्य कांग्रेस पार्टी को मजबूत करना और उसकी विचारधारा को जन-जन तक पहुंचाना है।
पूर्व मंत्री मालती थापर, लाभसिंह आहलूवालिया, पूर्व चेयरमैन विनोद बंसल व सभी टकलासी कांग्रेस नेताओं ने स्पष्ट किया कि टकसाली कांग्रेस नेता व्यक्तिगत हितों से ऊपर उठकर केवल पार्टी के हित में कार्य कर रहे हैं। उनका मानना है कि जब संगठन मजबूत होगा, तो हर कार्यकर्ता—चाहे वह पुराना हो या नया—स्वाभाविक रूप से सशक्त होगा।
कांग्रेस नेताओं ने आगे कहा कि आगामी विधानसभा और नगर निगम चुनावों को लेकर सभी कार्यकर्ताओं को पार्टी नेतृत्व पर पूरा विश्वास रखना चाहिए। जो भी उम्मीदवार पार्टी द्वारा घोषित किया जाएगा, सभी नेता और कार्यकर्ता मिलकर उसे जिताने के लिए एकजुट होकर काम करेंगे। टकसाली कांग्रेस नेताओं ने संकल्प लिया कि वे इसी एकता और समर्पण के साथ आगे बढ़ते हुए पार्टी को मजबूत करने और जनसेवा के लिए निरंतर कार्य करते रहेंगे।

Ajit Pal Singh Inducted into Congress, Appointed Ward In-charge

Moga. Uniting on a common platform, veteran Congress leaders have intensified their campaign to expand the party’s organizational base. On Friday, amidst tremendous enthusiasm in the Old Moga area, youth leader Ajit Pal Singh was formally inducted into the Congress party and appointed as the Ward In-charge.
On this occasion, several prominent leaders—including senior Congress leader and former Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dr. Malti Thapar; former Chairman of the Punjab Agro Industries Corporation, Labh Singh Ahluwalia; former Chairman of the Improvement Trust, Vinod Bansal; member of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee and former Councilor Manjit Singh Mann; former President Parmpal Singh Takhtupura; and youth leader and Councilor Vicky Sarpanch—formally inducted Ajit Pal Singh into the party by draping him with the traditional Congress *angavastra* (ceremonial stole). It was through the efforts of former Chairman Labh Singh Ahluwalia that Ajit Pal Singh joined the Congress; he is an energetic young leader.
Former Chairman of the Improvement Trust, Vinod Bansal, stated that with the permission of District President Hari Singh Khai, the veteran Congress leaders of Moga district have launched a campaign to bring new and capable individuals into the party with the objective of strengthening the organization. He emphasized that the sole objective of these veteran leaders is to fortify the Congress party and to disseminate its ideology to every section of the masses.
Former Minister Malti Thapar, Labh Singh Ahluwalia, former Chairman Vinod Bansal, and all the veteran Congress leaders clarified that they have risen above personal interests and are working solely in the best interest of the party. They firmly believe that when the organization is strong, every party worker—whether veteran or new—will naturally be empowered.
The Congress leaders further added that, with the upcoming Assembly and Municipal Corporation elections in view, all party workers must place their complete trust in the party leadership. Regardless of which candidate is officially declared by the party, all leaders and workers will work together in unity to ensure that candidate’s victory.
